Although this Blog was originaly about my college work in 3ds max ext. I have now finished the course... The blog now will be about new games and reviews on new games ext.

Using lighting in 3ds max
I made a box then converted it to an editable mesh, once I did that I deleted the top and short sides of the box as to create a corridor. Then I made a lamp shade using the cone tool, after that I made a target spotlight to shine out of the lamp shade, the colour of the light was red. after all this I started to play with the settings to get the best quality of light, changing the intensity, luminosity and effects before adding the atmospheric effects called "volumetric lighting" this made the scene look realistic. Then I duplicated the lamps 4 times so that it would light up the entire corridor.
